RICHMOND, Va. (Vegan AF) - Trader Joe's has quietly launched their own vegan burger that are in-stores now. Their new plant-based protein patties contain 18g of protein per serving and two, 4oz patties come per package. The main ingredient and bulk of the protein comes from a pea protein blend containing water, pea protein, and pea fiber. The color of the patties comes from beets, fruit juice, and vegetable juice. INGREDIENTS: Hydrated Pea Protein Blend (Water, Pea Protein, Pea Fiber), Sunflower Oil, Beets, Natural Flavors, Methyl Cellulose, Oat Fiber, Fruit Juice (Color), Onion Powder, Sea Salt, Vegetable Juice (Color).
Priced at only $4.49 per package, these cost less than other similar plant-based burgers currently on the market. Trader Joe's continues to make strides to add to its vegan offerings and it only continues to grow.
